[일상회화] 레스토랑/카페에서 쓸 수 있는 표현들

[카페] 메뉴 주문할 때 

Customer: "Hi, can I get a latte, please?"

Barista: "Sure, would you like that hot or iced?"

Customer: "Hot, please. And can I also have a blueberry muffin?"

Barista: "Of course. Anything else?"

Customer: "No, that's all. Thank you."

 

 - please를 붙이자...!! 

 

[레스토랑] 식당 처음 들어가면 서버가 물어보는 것 

Host/Hostess: "Good evening! Welcome to [Restaurant Name]. How many in your party?" 

Customer: "Two, please." 

Host/Hostess: "Sure, we have a table ready for you. Right this way, please."

 

[레스토랑] 바깥에 앉고 싶을 때 

  • Direct Request:
    • "Hi, could we have a table outside, please?"
    • "We'd like to sit outside, if that's possible."
  • Inquiring About Availability:
    • "Do you have any tables available outside?"
    • "Is there a table open on the patio?"
  • When Being Seated:
    • "We'd prefer to sit outside, if that's alright."
    • "Can we be seated outside?"

 

[레스토랑] 테이블에서 서버가 처음 물어보는 것 

Server: "Good evening. My name is [Server's Name], and I'll be taking care of you tonight. Can I start you off with something to drink?"

Customer: "Yes, I'll have a water, and my friend will have a lemonade."

Server: "Sure, I'll be right back with your drinks."

 

[레스토랑] 메뉴 주면서 하는 말 

Server: "Here are your menus. Our specials tonight are [describe specials]. If you have any questions, feel free to ask." Customer: "Thank you. We'll need a few minutes to decide."

 

[레스토랑] 주문준비 됐냐고 물어볼 때 

Server: "Are you ready to order, or do you need a few more minutes?"

Customer: "We're ready. I'll have the grilled chicken salad."

Server: "Excellent choice. And for you?"

Customer's Companion: "I'll have the steak, medium rare."

 

[레스토랑] 예약 이미 해놨을 때 

Host/Hostess: "Good evening. Do you have a reservation?"

Customer: "Yes, it's under the name Smith."

Host/Hostess: "Right this way, please."

 

 

[레스토랑] Customizing Orders

Customer: "Can I have the burger without onions?"

Waiter/Waitress: "Sure, no problem. Anything else?"

 

 

[레스토랑] 서버가 checking the meal할 때 

Waiter/Waitress: "How is everything?"

Customer: "Everything is great, thank you."

 

[레스토랑] 디저트 물어볼 때 

Server: "Would you like to see the dessert menu?"

Customer: "Yes, please."

OR Customer: "No, thank you. Just the check, please."

 

[레스토랑]  빌지 달라고 할 때 

Customer: "Can I get the bill, please?"

Barista: "Sure, I’ll bring it right over."
